Does Samsung Have a Find My for Galaxy Buds?

Yes, if you have a Samsung Galaxy phone. Samsung has two finder apps: SmartThings Find, which now includes Find My Mobile, and Samsung Find, which comes preloaded on newer Galaxy devices. Both need a Galaxy phone or tablet signed in to a Samsung account. Samsung lists Galaxy Buds4 Pro, Buds4, Buds3 Pro, Buds3, Buds2 Pro, Buds2, Buds Pro, Buds Live and Buds+ as supported. You can pick the left or right earbud, see its most recently recorded location on a map, and make it ring while it's connected over Bluetooth.

Offline finding uses the Galaxy Find Network: other people's Galaxy devices nearby can report where your Buds are, even when they're no longer connected to your phone. Samsung says this works for Galaxy Buds Pro, Buds Live, Buds FE and Buds2 or newer. It has limits. Buds lost inside the case can't be located, a charging case on its own can't be checked separately, and nothing works once the earbuds and the case are both completely drained.

On iPhone there's much less. Samsung's Galaxy Buds app for iOS only supports Galaxy Buds+ and Buds Live, and its Find my Earbuds beep needs the buds to be connected. Samsung says other models work with iPhone as ordinary Bluetooth earbuds, and it doesn't document Google Find Hub support for Galaxy Buds. How to Find Lost Galaxy Buds

1. Open & Scan

Take the case out and open the lid, or go to where you last used a single bud. Launch FindMy on your iPhone and look for your Galaxy Buds in the list of nearby Bluetooth devices.

2. Follow the Signal

Walk slowly and watch the signal meter. A stronger reading means you are getting closer; if it drops, turn around. Walls and bodies weaken the signal, so trust the trend over a few seconds.

3. Pinpoint & Recover

When the signal peaks, search the spots around you: under cushions, inside bags and pockets, between car seats. If the bud has run flat, it stops broadcasting, so search soon.

How do I find my Galaxy Buds?

On a Samsung Galaxy phone, open SmartThings Find or Samsung Find, signed in to the same Samsung account, and select your Buds to see their most recently recorded location. You can also start Find My Earbuds in Galaxy Wearable to make a connected bud ring. On iPhone, go to where you last used them and scan with a Bluetooth finder such as FindMy.

Can I find Galaxy Buds that aren't connected to my phone?

Often, yes. Samsung's Galaxy Find Network lets nearby Galaxy devices report the location of Galaxy Buds Pro, Buds Live, Buds FE and Buds2 or newer while they're offline. It stops working if the buds lose all power or can't send a Bluetooth signal.

Can I find one lost Galaxy Bud?

Yes. In SmartThings Find you can switch between the left and right earbud and check each one's location. The Ring feature only works while that earbud is connected to your phone over Bluetooth.

Can I find my Galaxy Buds case?

Not on its own. Samsung says that if only the charging case is lost, its location can't be checked separately, and buds lost inside the case can't be located either.
