Beats Solo4 / Studio Pro vs Studio Buds — any difference in range?

Yes. Over-ear models like Studio Pro have a larger antenna and typically reach ~15m more than the in-ear Studio Buds. For over-ear Beats you can often start a scan from an adjacent room.

Will FindMy detect Beats that are connected to my iPad right now?

Yes. A Bluetooth device can advertise even while connected. FindMy does not need to pair with the headphones — it just reads the public advertising packets.

Why do my Powerbeats Pro show up as two separate devices?

Each Powerbeats Pro earbud has its own Bluetooth radio (the same dual-bud architecture as AirPods). When both are out of the case, both broadcast — that is normal. Once one bud goes back into the case, that entry disappears within ~30 seconds.

Are Beats trackable when paired to an Android phone?

Yes. The BLE advertising packet is platform-agnostic — it works regardless of whether your Beats are currently paired to an iPhone or Android device. Pairing affects the audio link, not Bluetooth discovery.
